Active-Duty Chief Quotas Released

The Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 active-duty E-7 selection board convened June 24, in Millington, Tennessee.
For the Cycle 242 active-duty E-7 advancement selection board there are 4,744 quotas for 18,350 eligible E-6 Sailors.
This advancement cycle shows and increase in advancement opportunity over the previous cycle, with advancement opportunity available for all ratings.
Current advancement opportunity is 25.85%, well above the 10-year average of 22.53% and the five-year average of 23.89%.
