FY19 Active Duty Chief Quotas Released

The Navy released quotas for the fiscal year 2019 chief petty officer selection board that convened June 25 providing advancement opportunity in all ratings. Over 18,000 active duty E-6 Sailors' records are going before the board that will select up to 4,704 Sailors for E-7 advancement.
Overall advancement opportunity is 25.22 percent, which is an increase of 1.62 percentage points from last cycle's opportunity of 23.60 percent. Also, this year's opportunity is above the 10-year average of 21.99 percent.
