FY-17 Cycle 233 Reserve Senior and Master Chief Quotas

E8/9 FTS and SELRES advancement quotas released

06 March 2017 Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Full Time Support (FTS) and Selective Reserve (SELRES) E8/E9 board quotas were released March 6 after the board convened in Millington, Tennessee. Full Time Support

Eligible senior chiefs will see a small increase in advancement opportunity of 7.90 percent, compared to 6.54 percent last year. There are a total of 64 quotas, an increase of 9 quotas from last year's board. Approximately 810 E8 records will be reviewed by the board.

Eligible master chiefs will see a decrease in advancement opportunity of 14.66 percent, compared to 18.97 percent last year. There are a total of 17 quotas, a decrease from 22 quotas from last year's board. Approximately 116 E8 records will be reviewed.

Selective Reserve

Eligible senior chiefs will see a decrease in advancement opportunity of 9.68 percent, compared to 13.77 percent last year. There are a total of 161 quotas, a decrease of 90 quotas from last year's board. Approximately 1664 E8 records will be reviewed by the board.

Eligible master chiefs will see a slight increase in advancement opportunity of 11.96 percent, compared to 9.68 percent last year. There are a total of 47 quotas, an increase from 5 quotas from last year's board. Approximately 393 E9 records will be reviewed.
