USS George Washington Conducts Flight Operations
Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Aircraft Handling) 1st Class Breana Royston, from Denver, North Carolina, assigned to air department’s flight deck crash and salvage division, signals for an F/A-18E Super Hornet, attached to the Dambusters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 195, to drop its launch bar on the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) while underway in the Pacific Ocean, Oct. 30, 2024.
