NAVFAC Southeast and SAME Host First STEM Camp at NAS Jacksonville
Campers participating in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southeast Summer STEM Camp tour Patrol Squadron Thirty and have the exciting opportunity to climb onboard a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, exploring its advanced technology and capabilities. The camp, which began on June 23 and spanned seven intensive days at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, offered 47 selected students from across the country a unique and rigorous experience aimed at igniting their interest in careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
