NEW YORK (May 22, 2024) The amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), the littoral combat ship USS Marinette (LCS 25), the German navy frigate FGS Baden-Wurttemberg (F-222), the German navy replenishment ship FGS Frankfurt am Main (A-1412), the U.S. Coast Guard cutters USCGC Sturgeon Bay (WTGB 109) and USCGC Calhoun (WMSL 759), the coastal buoy tender USCGC Katherine Walker (WLM 552) and four U.S. Naval Academy yard patrol craft pass under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, May 22, 2024. Fleet Week New York is a time-honored sea service celebration that allows citizens of New York City and the surrounding tri-state region to witness today's maritime capabilities first-hand.
