YOKOHAMA, Japan (May 22, 2024) Thirty-seven Sailors from six commands joined members from the Veterans of Foreign Wars in the annual Yokohama General Foreign Cemetery Cleanup, May 22, 2024, in Yokohama, Japan. Founded in 1854 where one of Commodore Matthew C. Perry's Sailors was first buried, the five acre site is the final resting place for more than 4,200 people including many U.S., British, and French servicemembers.
