Jillian Ferguson, from Loveland, Ohio, uses a sextant on the bridgewing aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) to measure the distance between the ship and the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) during a replenishment-at-sea in the South China Sea, April 19, 2024. Harpers Ferry and embarked elements of the 15th MEU are conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
