Brett Mietus, director of the Navy Office of Culture and Force Resilience, answers a question during the "Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders" panel discussion at the 2024 Sea-Air-Space Exposition. Other panel members were: Kari Wilkinson, vice president of Huntington Ingalls Industries and president of Ingalls Shipbuilding; Rear Adm. Amy Bauernschmidt, deputy commander of U.S. 7th Fleet; and Dale Sisson, technical director of Naval Surface Warfare Center's Dahlgren Division. The Sea-Air-Space Exposition is an annual event that brings together key military decision makers, the U.S. defense industrial base and private-sector U.S. companies for an innovative and educational maritime based event.
