SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 21, 2024) Engineman 2nd Class Rossevel Medina, from Perris, California, demonstrates a takedown during a level one oleoresin capsicum (OC) contamination practical exam aboard the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Mobile (LCS 26) while underway in the South China Sea, March 21, 2024. Participants of the exam must demonstrate combat mindset and basic martial arts techniques to pass and receive their security forces qualification.
