BOSTON (March 17, 2024) Sailors assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) walk in the famous South Boston St. Patrick's Day/ Evacuation Day parade March 17, 2024. Truxtun is in Boston for a scheduled port visit. The ship currently serves as part of Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (SURFLANT). SURFLANT mans, trains and equips assigned surface forces and shore activities, ensuring the capable force for conducting prompt and sustained operations in support of the United States national interests.
