PACIFIC OCEAN (Mar. 5, 2024) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) fires its Mark 45 5-inch gun during a live-fire exercise while operating in the Pacific Ocean. McCain is currently underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.
