SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 7, 2024) Sailors aboard the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Mobile (LCS 26) install temporary shoring equipment during a damage control drill while underway in the South China Sea, March 7, 2024. Damage control drills are designed to train crewmembers to appropriately respond to various at-sea emergency scenarios.
