PASCAGOULA, Miss. (Mar. 4, 2024) - Capt. Harry Marsh, commanding officer, of the America-class amphibious assault ship PCU Bougainville (LHA 8), briefs Sen. Roger Wicker, ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti, and Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Christopher Mahoney before a tour of the ship while visiting Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Miss., Mar. 4. Franchetti and Mahoney were able to interact with U.S. Navy Sailors and civilians, industry leadership, and members of Congress during the Gulf Coast visit.
