PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 27, 2023) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Avery Matthews, from Bowie, Maryland, makes an announcement over the ship's mass communication system on the bridge aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100). Kidd is part of Carrier Strike Group 1 and is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of free and open Indo-Pacific.
