ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Nov. 15, 2023) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Carlos Del Toro announces that the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer DDG-141 will be named USS Ernest E. Evans, for Medal of Honor recipient and Naval Academy graduate Ernest E. Evans. Del Toro made the announcement during National Native American History Month.
