GRAU'S SEA (Oct. 22, 2023) The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92) conducts division tactics with Peruvian navy ships BAP Bolognesi, BAP Mariategui, BAP Guise, and BAP Ferre while passing and receiving flag signals. Momsen is participating in Silent Forces Exercise, a U.S.-Peruvian bilateral exercise coordinated between Destroyer Squadron 40 and Peruvian Submarine Force that focuses on anti-submarine warfare proficiency against diesel submarines in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
