AT SEA (Oct. 10, 2023) The U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), steams in formation with Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) helicopter destroyer JS Hyuga (DDH 181), Republic of Korea Navy (ROK-N) Sejong the Great-class guided-missile destroyer ROKS Yulgok Yi I (DDG 992), first-in-class fast-combat support ship ROKS Cheonji (AOE 57), and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86), while aircraft attached to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5 fly overhead, during trilateral training at sea, Oct. 10.
