PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 7, 2023) First class petty officers selected for promotion to chief petty officer parade the colors during a 9/11 remembrance ceremony in the hangar bay aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) while underway in the Pacific Ocean, Sept. 11, 2023. The ceremony honored the 2,977 people who perished 22 years ago during the 9/11 attacks and paid tribute to the first responders and personnel who died while aiding the victims.
