CORAL SEA (July 21, 2023) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Donald Elliot, from Kansas City, Missouri, directs an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, Det. 6, to land aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) during Exercise Talisman Sabre, July 21, 2023. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns. America, lead ship of the America Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
