First Woman to Become Master Chief Gunner's Mate
230428-N-TH560-1254 WASHINGTON (April 28, 2023) Master Chief Gunner’s Mate Jessica Harrison, from Twin Falls, Idaho, is the first woman in the U.S. Navy to achieve the rank of E-9 in the gunner’s mate rating, a career field dating back to the birth of the Navy.
