FORT JACKSON, S.C. (May 22, 2023) A U.S. Navy corpsman with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit provides medical aid to a simulated casualty while conducting a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel (TRAP) during a composite training unit exercise at Fort Jackson, S.C., May 21, 2023. TRAP is a contingency mission utilized to rapidly respond to downed aircraft and to recover personnel from isolated locations during deployment.
