(May 11, 2023) Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) James Honea speaks to Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, leadership during their training symposium while visiting Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, May 9, 2023. The symposium provides a forum for more tha 120 commodores, commanders, and Surface Fleet leaders to receive updates on Fleet-wide initiatives, at the unit level, that generate combat ready ships and battle-minded crews. Additionally, CTS provides an opportunity for recently operating commanding officers to detail experiences and best practices to other leaders.
