ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 6, 2023) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74) draft a storyboard detailing the series of event that occurred during a counter-unmanned surface vehicle drill, March 6, 2023. McFaul is underway in the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group completing its composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), an intense, multi-week exercise designed to fully integrate a carrier strike group as a cohesive, multi-mission fighting force and to test their ability to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
