CORONADO, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2023) U.S. Navy SEAL candidates in class 358 participate in “Hell Week” during the first phase of Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training, 29 Jan. 2023. The Naval Special Warfare Center provides initial assessment and selection and subsequent advanced training to the Sailors who make up the Navy's SEAL and Special Boat communities. These communities support the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) mission, providing maritime special operations forces to conduct full spectrum operators, unilaterally or with partners, to support national objectives.
