ORLANDO, Florida (Jan. 21, 2023) - Operations Specialist 1st Class Travis Wyatt and his wife, Teea Wyatt, share a kiss during OS1 Wyatt’s participation in the 2022 Warrior Games in an undated photo. Wyatt was injured from concussive blasts during the fire aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) on July 20, 2020. Wyatt actively participates in adaptive athletics through Navy Wounded Warrior, a Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) program. CNIC oversees 48,000 employees located across 70 Navy shore installations in 10 regions around the world and is charged with sustaining the Fleet, enabling the Fighter and supporting the Family.
