ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 23, 2022) The U.S. Navy Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Tennessee (SSBN 734), a Royal Navy Vanguard-class nuclear submarine, an E6-B Mercury assigned to the "Shadows" of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ) 4 and an MH60R Sea Hawk helicopter attached to the “Proud Warriors” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 72 conduct bi-lateral at-sea training in the Atlantic Ocean, Nov. 23, 2022. The training is designed to validate tactics, techniques and procedures which strengthens the relationship between uniquely close Allies in support of deterrence and collective security. The United States and the United Kingdom have a long-standing agreement of cooperation in the development and deployment of strategic weapons and supporting system.
