Alvin Holsey, commander, Navy Personnel Command, answers a question at the National Naval Officers Association (NNOA) 50th Year Symposium, July 27, 2022. Holsey was the director of Task Force One Navy, a special team that was tasked with examining the Navy’s policies and culture in order to enhance the Navy’s overall diversity and inclusivity. The annual NNOA conference aims to increase attendees’ overall awareness of issues affecting the sea service while hosting educational and professional development workshops, seminars, and exhibits.
