GULF OF ADEN (Oct. 28, 2022) The guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) pulls alongside the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Matthew Perry (T-AKE 9) in the Gulf of Aden. Nitze is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to help ensure maritime security and stability in the Middle East region.
