ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 17, 2022) The rifle detail aboard the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) fire volleys during a burial at sea on the ship's aircraft elevator 2, Sept. 17, 2022. During the ceremony, the cremated remains of 30 souls were committed to the sea in the Atlantic Ocean. Gerald R.
