DAHLGREN, Va. (Sept. 15, 2022) The original bridge spanning Gambo Creek at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren was built in 1932. The new bridge, built by Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Washington, was completed in 2022. The bridge supports all vehicular traffic across Gambo Creek, both civilian and military, as well as main range operations, security, and fire and rescue.
