(Aug. 24, 2022) Quartermaster 1st Class Michael Griffith, from Rochester, N.Y., a high-risk training specialist assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG) Training Evaluation Unit, evaluates Quartermaster 2nd Class Lidia Chiabai, a tactical craft crewman gunner assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11, on her crew-served weapons knowledge as part of the Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) Boat University (BU) Advanced Course. MESF BU is designed to train and qualify Sailors to sustain mobilization readiness. MESF is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.
