NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (July 29, 2022) Board members made up of Naval Air Station command and security department leadership present questions to Master-at-Arms chief petty officers, NAS Sigonella’s initial qualifiers during the Naval Security Force Master Specialist oral board for the new NSF insignia qualification pin, July 29, 2022. The new NSF insignia qualification program establishes performance standards that can be used to assist in the assignment; promotion and officer selection processes, and provides a visual recognition of the Sailor’s professional expertise with a pin designating the qualification level as a NSF specialist, senior specialist, master specialist or officer. NAS Sigonella’s strategic location enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to deploy and respond as required, ensuring security and stability in Europe, Africa and Central Command.
