PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 15, 2022) An EC-255 Super Puma with the Maritime Pre-Positioning Force moves cargo during a replenishment at sea between the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LHA 7), front, the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7), middle, and the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmoore (LSD 47) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 15, 2022. This RAS delivered food, supplies, parts, and mail to Sailors and Marines underway across multiple naval ships. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
