MEDITERRANEAN SEA (July 3, 2022) Aircraft attached to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1, fly by the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56), the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers, USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) and USS Cole (DDG 67) and French Navy Aquitaine-class FREMM frigate FS Languedoc (D 653) during an air power demonstration in the Ionian Sea. San Jacinto is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
