PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 7, 2022) Sailors extract from the expeditionary sea base USS Miguel Keith (ESB 5) during a visit, board, search, and seizure exercise in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 7, 2022. This group of Sailors are designated as the prize crew, who commandeer the ship after the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's Maritime Raid Force has cleared it. The 31st MEU is operating aboard the ships of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific Region.
