PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 7, 2022) A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, flies away from the expeditionary sea base USS Miguel Keith (ESB 5) during a visit, board, search, and seizure exercise from the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 7, 2022. Marines and Sailors aboard New Orleans provided oversight and command and control during the drill. The 31st MEU is operating aboard the ships of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific Region.
