CHEYENNE, Wyo. (July 23, 2022) Cmdr. Samuel Bell, commanding officer of the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Cheyenne (SSN 773), and Petty Officer 1st Class Edward Meffert represent the submarine in a parade in Cheyenne, Wyoming, during the city's Frontier Days celebration. Bell and Meffert, the crew's Sailor of the Year, were part of a four-person contingent from Cheyenne visiting the sub's namesake city to share their Navy stories and build relationships in the community.
