EAST CHINA SEA (July 6, 2022) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Parramatta (FFH-154), and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Asahi-class destroyer JS Asahi (DD-119) conduct a live-fire gunnery exercise. Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
