ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 12, 2022) Flag bearer Chief Aviation Electronics Technician Jennifer Warzecha, from Portland, Conn., assigned to the Ford-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) aircraft intermediate maintenance department, bows her head in prayer during a burial at sea ceremony on the ship’s aircraft elevator, July 12, 2022. The remains of 30 service and family members were committed to the sea. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting an independent steaming operation.
