GULF OF OMAN (July 13, 2022) The guided-missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92) sails alongside Italian navy frigate ITS Virginio Fasan (F 591) in the Gulf of Oman. Momsen is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to help ensure maritime security and stability in the Middle East region.
