ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 23, 2022) U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Nathan Schmidtke, was nominated warrior of the week aboard Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), the week of May 15, 2022. Schmidtke is a topographic analyst with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, who is tasked with making mission essential maps.
