Cochrane, a field medical service technician with Bravo Surgical Company, 3d Medical Battalion, salutes prior to receiving the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, June 30, 2022. On Jan. 12, 2022, Cochrane saved the life of Chief Hospital Corpsman Elmer Aquino, with Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Pearl Harbor.
