NAVAL STATION NORFOLK (June 6, 2022) Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 1st class Michael Walp, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gravely (DDG 107), throws the last mooring line to the pier as the ship returns to homeport following a seven-month-long deployment. Gravely is returning from a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, where it was employed by U.S. 6th Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
