PHU YEN, Vietnam (June 27, 2022) Petty Officer 2nd Class Yushi Wakai, a guitarist with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), performs with the U.S. Pacific Fleet Band at a Pacific Partnership 2022 (PP22) host nation outreach event at the Song Cau Stadium in Vietnam. Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific.
