PACIFIC OCEAN (June 23, 2022) Chief Damage Controlman Kevin Underritter addresses Sailors and their families and friends about damage control during a family day cruise aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Friends and family members were invited aboard Anchorage to experience a day in the life of a Sailor at sea first-hand. Anchorage is currently home ported in San Diego as part of Amphibious Squadron SEVEN, along with USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26) and the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8).
