PALS consists of discussions and presentations which aim to deepen cooperation, confront common threats, protect shared resources and uphold sovereignty. The 2022 symposium brought together senior leaders from 18 participating delegations who are committed to a free and open Indo-Pacific, with the objective of strengthening and developing regional relationships.
