STOCKHOLM (June 1, 2022) Capt. Douglas S. MacKenzie, Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella's commanding officer, congratulates Lt. Adam Romero, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), on his job performance June 3, 2022, in Stockholm. Porter is currently participating in exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 22, the premier maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region. The exercise, led by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, and executed by Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO, provides a unique training opportunity to strengthen combined response capabilities critical to preserving freedom of navigation and security in the Baltic Sea.
