YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 28, 2022) Families participate in a Memorial Day 5k onboard U.S. Fleet Activities Yokosuka. The event provided a way for participants to remember and honor those who died while serving and to support our Navy Gold Star Families. The Navy Gold Star Program provides support to surviving family members of Sailors who died while on active duty, regardless of your loved one's military branch, location, or manner of death. For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th fleet's forward deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
