220422-N-RM599-0003 ANNAPOLIS, Maryland (April 22, 2022) Naval Support Activity Annapolis and the US Naval Academy hosted a Clean the Bay day volunteer event to commemorate Earth Day. The event was led by the Natural Resources Program Manager and included participation from over a dozen midshipmen and numerous volunteers. Volunteers cut back overgrown vegetation on Possum point’s seawall, removed fallen tree on the Timberdoodle trail, and cleaned up garbage along the trails and roads at Greenbury point – for a total of 17 bags of garbage!
